Look after all the dedicated / Waqf Properties and to ensure its proper use, management and administration in accordance with the Waqf laws.

The Auqaf, Hajj, Religious & Minority Affairs Department offers various grants and scholarships to support the needy and deserving people of Minority Community. These financial aids aim to assist in improving their quality of life and educational opportunities. The grants provided include Grant-in-Aid, Widow Grant to help widows in need, Marriage Grant to assist with wedding expenses, and Orphan Grant to support orphaned children. Additionally, the department provides scholarships to students from the minority community to help them pursue their education and achieve their academic goals.

Government may, in the prescribed manner and on payment of prescribed fee and fulfillment of the prescribed terms and conditions, registered a publisher or a recording company with Auqaf Department for purposes of publishing or recording the Holy Quran.
